Honored to be a triathlete with the 2 time DII national champions at Lenoir-Rhyne University. I also run track (primarily mid-distance) and cross country for the Bears. Currently I am pursuing my BS in chemistry, with minors in physics and math but have a passion for material science and dream of attending graduate school in that field. I am a team leader for the LR Balloons Engineering and Rocketry (B.E.A.R.) team and am even Level 1 certified for high power rocketry. As someone who has struggled with ADHD and has a history of depression due to extensive athletic injuries, I am a huge advocate for athletes mental health and being more than just an athlete. Supporting women and young girls in STEM and sports and really just proving just how much women can do is one of my biggest goals. Being at LR has also exposed me to such a diverse group of people from all across the world and I hope to see as much of that world as I can.
