I’m a very down to earth, humble, and hard working person. I have had a very hard past couple years as a collegiate athlete but I believe that’s what sets me apart from others. Shortly after placing 6th in the 400m at indoor conference back in 2020, I got in an almost fatal car crash. I broke every bone in my right leg, which is every track runners worst fear. I had to learn how to walk and run again, but within six months I was back on the track. It’s been a difficult journey to get back to where I was but I believe this year could be my best yet. I would love to tell my story to inspire others to never give up, no matter how hard things are.
