Spent the 2019-20 season as a redshirt at McNeese State University in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Played point guard at Magnolia HS before ending his high school career at Concordia HS, where he led his team to the state final four playoffs. Rated as the 4th-best player in the 6A TAPPS District 4 League, Offensive MVP and Newcomer of the Year, first team 6A TAPPS All-State and All-District, Named to the 6A TAPPS State All-Tournament Team. Averaged 11.1 points, 5.5 assists, 1.9 steals and 4.1 rebounds per game.
