I am Finley Anderson, a junior softball player at Minnesota State University, Mankato, originally from Aurora, Illinois. I am majoring in Elementary Education and Im passionate about teaching, advocating for young minds, and creating positive experiences for students. Outside of softball, I maintain an active lifestyle through walking, running, and weightlifting. I value giving back to my community and make an effort to volunteer whenever my schedule allows. My service experiences include assisting with softball camps, passing out food at a local church, Kiwanis Lights, Crave FOCP, Fire and Ice Ball, Special Olympics Bowling, and other community events. My team was also involved with Team IMPACT for two years, where we welcomed a young girl as an honorary member of the team. My experiences as a student athlete continue to grow my education, social, and service skills that will help me be the best version of myself after college.
