I am a two-time Paralympian and six-time US National Champion with an interesting story. I suffered a major injury and it affected my ability to do many of the things I loved. I found a renewed passion for life through Paralympic sport. Although I am retired from competition, I coach through my own fencing club and enjoy teaching and inspiring kids and adults, I am also an active referee for national and international competitions, including being selected to officiate at the games in Tokyo. I believe in the importance of "giving back". Oh yes...Humor is important too.
