My name is Giavonna Meeks, and I am a junior on the Texas Track and Field team specializing in the hammer and weight throw. I am a 3x USTFCCCA First-Team All-American, the 2025 ACC Hammer and Weight Throw Champion, and a 2025 U.S. Team Trials Semifinalist. I’ve earned 2x All-ACC First Team honors, set the ACC Championships weight throw meet record, and currently rank No. 19 in collegiate weight throw history. My early career highlights include winning the 2023 Pan American U20 Hammer Championship, the 2023 USATF U20 Hammer Championship, and earning bronze at the 2022 USATF U20 Discus. I was also recognized as the 2024 SEC Indoor Co-Freshman Field Athlete of the Year and set Vanderbilt records in the hammer and weight throw. My journey is defined by discipline, resilience, and growth, and I look forward to partnering with brands that share these values as I continue striving to compete at the highest international levels.
