My name is Giavonna Meeks, and I am a junior thrower on the University of Texas Track and Field team specializing in the hammer and weight throw. I am a 4x USTFCCCA First-Team All-American, the 2026 SEC Indoor Weight Throw Champion, and the USTFCCCA South Region Women’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Year, while also holding the Texas program record in the weight throw. I am a 2025 ACC Hammer and Weight Throw Champion, 2x All-ACC First Team honoree, and a 2025 U.S. Team Trials Semifinalist. I was named the 2024 SEC Indoor Co-Freshman Field Athlete of the Year and have earned 2x SEC Women’s Field Athlete of the Week honors. I currently rank No. 7 in collegiate weight throw history and hold the ACC Championship meet record. I am interested in partnering with brands and companies centered around health, fitness, and overall well-being as I continue to grow my platform and compete at the highest level!
