I played high school football for Rockhurst in Kansas City, MO, Shawnee Mission South in Overland Park, Kansas and my senior year at Football North in Ontario, Canada. I had invitations to Notre Dame, Oregon State and 6 other NCAA Division 1 schools, but new I needed small class sizes to be successful as a student. I visited Wyoming and it was too big, so I knew the others would be as well, for my education. I went Division 2 to Quincy University and ultimately made the decision to transfer back to the Kansas City area. I was fortunate to have different options of schools that wanted me to play and ultimately chose MidAmerica Nazarene because of the school, coaching staff and overall organization. I have made great friends along the way that will be there for the rest of my life and get to be close to my family now as well. This is important for my happiness and I am truly blessed to be living out my dream of playing college football.
