My name is Henry Burbee, and I’m a student-athlete on the men’s golf team at the University of West Florida, where I’m studying business and working toward my ultimate goal of playing professional golf on the PGA Tour. I’m originally from Lakewood Ranch, Florida, and I’ve built my life around the pursuit of getting better—not just as a golfer, but as a teammate, student, and person. Golf has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. My dad is a golf teaching professional, and growing up around the game taught me early that improvement comes from consistent work, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn. I also share the college golf experience with my brother, Jack, who plays at UWF. That family connection makes the game especially meaningful to me. At Lakewood Ranch High School, I was a four-year varsity starter, earned All-Area recognition, won the Lakewood Ranch Invitational with a round of 68, and helped my team finish as state runner-up in consecutive seasons.
