I’m an international student-athlete from the Netherlands. I am currently a Senior at the University of Washington. I am majoring in Art, specifically in photography, and I am doing a minor in Nutrition. When I am home in the Netherlands, I am practicing with the national team and preparing for international regattas. My ultimate goal in rowing is to win a gold medal at the Olympic Games. Besides rowing I love taking photos and trying to share a story with them, show peoples real emotions. I think we as a world need some more realness, just being yourself, not caring about what other people might think. That’s what I am trying to do, my social media platforms are all about what I just wanted to post and share. I try not to think about if I post this what would people think. Just be me, little crazy sometimes, but with a lot of passion, energy, kindness, strength and discipline.
