Hey Husker Nation and fans! My name is Isaiah Garcia-Castaneda and I play wide receiver for the University of Nebraska. I am a transfer student from New Mexico State University. A little bit about me, I grew up in Southern California in a small town called Twentynine Palms. It’s a military town and my dad was in the Marine Corps for 15 years. I am an only child and grew up loving the game of football. Out of high school I didn’t have any scholarship offers so I played one semester at a junior college. That led me to New Mexico State, which now led me to the University of Nebraska. I’m 20 years old, and will be a junior this 2022 fall season. I am extremely thankful and blessed to be in the position I am today. I hope to use my platform to inspire everyone around me, and be involved in the community here in Lincoln, Nebraska. I’m a firm believer in faith, family, and hard work. It’s a privilege and a blessing to play football here! I am open to any and all NIL opportunities! Thank you!
