My name is Ishmael Togi and I am from White Center, Washington which is located in the westside of Seattle. I am Samoan and I take huge pride in my Polynesian culture and I want to do everything I can to represent it everywhere I go. As one of the very few Samoans in the Midwest, I carry my culture everywhere with me through the clothes I wear. I am currently in my junior year of eligibility. I spent 3 years playing Defensive Tackle at Division 2 Simon Fraser University before transferring in Fall 2023 to Augustana University. I am a Media Studies Major with a specialization in Business Admin. After school, I want to go into the sports media field and one of my goals is to eventually run my own media company with my family members as they also take interest in photography and videography. I currently have an Associates Degree in Multimedia.
