Hi! I’m Issy and I’m in my third year of undergrad at Southeastern University as a Kinesiology major! Over my past seven years of running cross country and track I’ve experienced seven lower limb stress fractures along with several muscle strains and a few cases of nerve damage. Each injury has enabled me to grow stronger both mentally and physically as well as taught me how to fight through adversity that doesn’t seem to have an end. During my time spent recovering I’ve grown other passions including boxing, music, and all things art-related, specifically drawing, painting, and shoe customization. I’m currently a senior and am planning to pursue a degree in chiropractic after graduating in the spring! I have high goals for this third and final collegiate cross country season and am excited to give it everything I got!
