About

Biography

I was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, with my two older siblings and my parents. I became involved with Wheelchair Basketball at the age of six. My brother was going through rehab, recovering from a surgery in downtown Chicago. During that time of rehab, we had connected with a coach who invited us to try wheelchair basketball, and since then, I have been playing the sport I love for 14 years now. At the age of 13, I made my first national team. Since then, I've competed in 2 U25 World Championships (2 golds, 1 Tournament MVP), 2 World Championships (6th place, 1 bronze medal), 1 American Qualifying Games(silver medal), 1 Parapan American Games (gold medal), 1 Paralympics (bronze medal) and set to compete in my second Paralympics this August at the Paris 2024 Paralympics. I am currently studying at the University of Alabama as well as playing for the women's wheelchair basketball team. Outside of basketball, I love listening and playing music. I love being around loved ones.
