Hi! My name is Izzy Apel and I am a freshman cross country and track athlete at the University of Nebraska Omaha. Currently I am majoring in neuroscience with the goal of attending medical school in the future and becoming the first doctor in my family. I enjoy the little things, mostly spending time with loved ones, exploring the outdoors, and listening to true crime podcasts. I don't shop unless it is for food, particularly sweet treats. The most important aspects of my life are family, friends, faith and fun. Outside of running, my passions include writing, traveling, skiing, and reading.
