My name is Jackson Scruggs, and I am from Athens, GA. I run cross country and track at Vanderbilt University and plan on majoring in Medicine, Health, and Society along the pre-med track and minoring in Spanish and Chemistry. I am a big Atlanta sports fan and am the middle of three boys so my whole life has been one big sporting event. When I’m not running or in the classroom, I enjoy watching any sport (basketball, football, baseball, soccer, golf, NASCAR, you name it). On Thursdays, I volunteer at Jones-Paideia Elementary school in their after school program, and while tutoring and mentoring the kids is definitely a large part of what I do there, I also go for the 20-30 minutes of free time (basketball and football).
