I’m a junior at the University of Oklahoma and a walk-on for the OU football team who earned the Baker Mayfield Scholarship. That moment meant a lot to me—not just because of what it represents on the field, but because it’s proof that hard work really does pay off. I take pride in being someone who understands the grind, who shows up early, stays late, and keeps pushing even when nobody’s watching.
