I have been playing basketball for as long as I can remember. My love for the game was something my father and I both shared. In 2011 I unexpectedly lost my father to a brain aneurysm. I lost not only my best friend and father but also the person who taught me everything I knew about the game. Basketball has now became that thing we still share and I can feel his love through it. Basketball helped my through the mourning process and has been there for me in ways many couldn't. After a great freshman season and helping lead my team to the state tournament for the first time in 19 years, I was on my way to have another great season when I tore my ACL in our 5th game of my sophmore season. Fortunately I was able to get cleared the day before my junior season started. My senior year we made it to the state championship, where we unfortunately fell short. After high school I went to juco, and my sopmore year I tore my ACL for the second time a week before our first game. Now I'm at MSUN!
