Hello my name is Jared Brackens. I am from Kerens, Texas. I am a student athlete at Texas Wesleyan University where I major in mass communications. In my family, I have 2 brothers,one of them being my twin brother Jarod, and one sister Taneque. On the track, I was blessed with the opportunity to run for Kerens High School and Texas Wesleyan University. At Kerens High School I ran the 100, 200, and the 4x100m dash where I was able to place 2nd in the 100m dash, 1st in the 200m dash and 5th in the 4x100m dash in the state of Texas. In my free time, I love spending time outdoors where I express another favorite hobby of photography. Photography has always made me feel at peace especially the pictures that I’ve taken of nature.
