Growing up in the small village of Stjær, Denmark, I found my home on the basketball court at a young age. Having dual citizenship through my American and Danish parents gave me a unique perspective on the game. While most Danish kids gravitated toward football, I developed my game with the Bakken Bears, Denmark's most prestigious basketball club. Playing in their youth system and eventually making it to their top team, I honed my skills against the best competition Denmark had to offer. My dual citizenship opened doors, and my basketball journey first brought me to American University in Washington D.C., where I gained valuable experience in the American college game. When I entered the transfer portal looking for a new opportunity, the University of Portland's coaching staff reached out.
