Hello, my name is Jermaine Hampton Jr. I come from Chicago, IL, where I was born and raised. I attended Mount Carmel High School for four years, and in 2023, I graduated with a high school diploma. I am a 1st-year student at Augustana University, majoring in Computer Science with a Minor in Business. I chose computer science as my major because I had a great interest in it and found great career paths while also taking on the challenge of this hard major. I am also a part of Augustana Football and play on the defensive side as a corner. Additionally, I am part of a program for diverse students on campus. After college, I plan to pursue a career in cybersecurity and one day start my own cybersecurity company. I also have big dreams about playing professional football and playing for my hometown, the Chicago Bears. Other important things to know about me are that I'm ambitious, hardworking, confident, calm, understanding, and supportive.
