Biography
My name is Jessa Hanson and I am a Division 1 cross country and track and field athlete at Northern Arizona University. I primarily focus on distance endurance events, ranging from 5k on up. I am a two time NCAA qualifier in the 10k in track, placing 11th last year, earning 2nd Team All-American and will be competing for the second time at the NCAA championships on June 9. I have placed All-Conference several times, earning podium positions in outdoor track for the last 2 years. I have a 4.0 GPA and am double majoring in Biology and Spanish and minoring in Chemistry and Latin American Studies. I love all things running, fitness, food, creativity, and more. Cooking is one of my favorite hobbies and I follow a vegan plant based life style as well.
