Hi, I’m Jiselle Jenkins, a defender for Vanderbilt University’s lacrosse team. I'm from Chevy Chase, MD, I graduated from The Bullis School, where I was a two-time All-ISL Varsity Lacrosse player and captain of both the varsity lacrosse and field hockey teams. My leadership earned me The David P. Hellekjaer Award for Leadership in Sports. Off the field, I excelled academically, maintaining High Honor Roll and earning honors like the Academic Excellence in World Language award (twice), Manuel Jose Baca Joy of Life Award, Head of Upper School Award, and recognition in the Chinese Bridge Proficiency Competition and Foxcroft’s Women in STEM Challenge. I was also involved in student leadership as Co-President of the Student Government Association and an active member of the Black Student Union, Women in STEM, Bullis Student Tutors, and National Honors Society. I’m passionate about teamwork, leadership, and inspiring others through my dedication on and off the field.
