I am a trailblazing student-athlete and scholar — the first in my entire family to attend college and pursue basketball at the collegiate level. As the oldest of six siblings and the first born in my generation, I carry a legacy of resilience, leadership, and ambition. I hold an Associate of Arts in Sport Science and an Associate of Arts in Communication Studies, credentials that reflect my dedication to understanding both the physical and interpersonal dimensions of sport and life. I’m also featured in the St. Mary’s University Public History project St. Mary’s University Athletic Center: A History of Inclusion Through Oral Histories — a public history initiative that documents lived experiences and the evolving story of sport and community at St. Mary’s University. Being part of a published oral history project has been an honor and a milestone in my academic journey.
