Hi! My name is Jo Sees, and I am a soccer player at Kansas State. I am originally from a small town in Alaska, and grew up loving all things outdoors! I was involved in many things including soccer, skiing, running, and hiking. When I moved to Colorado, I began exclusively focusing on soccer and chasing my dream of playing at the collegiate level. Although Kansas is very different from Alaska, the small town feel of Manhattan makes me feel right at home and contributed to why I chose K-State. I was extremely happy with how my first season at K-State wrapped up. I worked my way into a starting position as a left forward and ended the season as the team’s leading points-scorer. I am also pursuing my undergrad in Pre-Veterinary Animal Sciences in hopes of becoming a companion animal veterinarian, as I love working with animals! Some of my other interests include being outdoors, cooking, and hotdogs.
