My name is John Andrews Jr., and I’m from Montrose, Mississippi. I’m a junior at Simpson College in Iowa, where I’m majoring in Human Services and minoring in Sociology. I’m also a student-athlete and play football for Simpson College. Outside of football and academics, I run my own podcast called Athletecast, which is available on YouTube and other platforms. On my podcast, I invite athletes from Simpson’s campus to share their journeys as student-athletes, discuss their experiences balancing sports and academics, and talk about the importance of mental health. When I’m back home in Mississippi, I enjoy riding four-wheelers and horses, spending time outdoors, and enjoying the country life with my family.
