John D.G Petrone graduated from Colorado Connections Academy at Mapleton in 2021 and is a current student at East Texas Baptist University, where he is earning his major in finance and accounting and his minor in forensic science. He is a defenseman on the ACHA mens Division 2 hockey team and a Long Pole Defenseman on the lacrosse team.
