Jorge Avila is a talented soccer player from Salinas, California, currently playing as a freshman for Corban University. He attended Salinas High School, where he was a standout defender and midfielder. Avila was recognized for his leadership as team captain and was honored as a First Team All-District selection in the Pacific Coast Athletic League. He also participated in competitive soccer outside of high school, including playing for the San Jose Earthquakes Academy, showcasing his high level of play. In college, Avila continues to develop his skills on the Corban University soccer team as a versatile player in both defensive and midfield roles​
