I am a Christian student-athlete who currently attends UC Irvine and I am on the men’s soccer team. I was born and raised in San Diego with two other siblings by a widowed mother. At the end of Fall 2023 I will have graduated from UC Irvine with two bachelor degrees, one in Business Economics and the other in Sociology. I have played soccer since I was 9 years old and have always had the dream of becoming a professional athlete and I am still in pursuit of that dream. An interesting fact is that I played the violin from 4th-12th grade so I am knowledgeable about that art to an extent. I have learned to become appreciative of music. There are two difficult moments which are engraved in my mind forever, the death of my father and also my acl,mcl and meniscus injury but through my friends and family and also God, even though it was difficult, I was able to process it and come out a better person.
