My name is Julia Turrisi, and I’m currently a freshman in the 3+1 Applied Business Program at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. I’m also proud to be part of the university’s Division 1 Acrobatics and Tumbling team, where I contribute as both a top and tumbler. In high school, I was actively involved in gymnastics through both my school and club teams, and I was a dedicated member of the cheerleading squad. Beyond sports, I gained valuable experience working at my family’s grocery store and serving as a lifeguard at the local pool. When I’m not busy with academics or athletics, I love spending time with my family and friends, walking my dog, and exploring new foods. Looking ahead, my goal is to become a successful businesswoman and one day start a company of my own.
