Hi! I'm Julie Letai, a 2022 Olympic short tracker shooting for the 2026 Olympics. I'm from outside Boston, and now live and train in Utah. I'm a student at the University of Utah double majoring in Sociology and Health, Society & Policy, with a minor in Psychology. My other favorite things are laughing with friends, getting outdoors (esp w/ my dog), and doing puzzles! My athletic journey is about working hard and striving for improvement every day, big or small. I didn’t start as a naturally talented skater, but I learned anything can be done with the right work ethic and attitude. I highly value a team atmosphere and contribute a fun, positive, and welcoming environment. The past year and a half have unfortunately been filled with injuries, but I just keep showing up. My career and this comeback to Milan 2026, taught me how important it is to focus on mental health in addition to physical. This has become a passion of mine as I learn more about myself and try to be there for others.
