My name is Justine and I was born and raised in the North Star State of Minnesota. Water has always been a big part of my life and growing up I did just about every water sport imaginable. At Augustana I am studying Elementary Education, Spanish, and teaching English as a new language. I have aspirations to become an ELL teacher and swim coach after I graduate. I currently volunteer at an organization called Caminando Juntos in Sioux Falls where I am an assistant teacher in a beginner level English class for Spanish speaking adults. For the past three years I was a private tutor for a single student who struggled with reading and writing. I am also a swim coach for my club team in the summers where I primarily coach athletes ages 6-13. Working with people is where my passion is and my career goal is to make as many lives better as I can. In my free time I love to bike, paint, bake, longboard, hike, open water swim, be outside, and listen to music.
