I’m Kai, a student athlete from Oregon who came out to California to chase opportunities as a division 1 athlete. I am an athlete with the California State University, Fullerton men’s water polo team and a kinesiology major working towards a physician assistant degree. I avidly pursue ways to improve my performance both in and out of the water which has resulted in areas of interest surrounding strength training, nutrition, and sport psychology to achieve higher levels of athletic and mental performance. While I work hard to perform as a division 1 athlete, part of performance is recovery and in my free time I enjoy board games, music, and ceramic work on the pottery wheel. My favorite games are Magic the Gathering and Puerto Rico, my current favorite artists are The Front Bottoms, Mom Jeans, and Still Woozy, and my favorite forms to create on the wheel are teapots and pitchers.
