Hi! My name is Karina Kanary and I’m a sophomore studying business administration with a concentration in finance at Fordham University! I’m drawn to business and finance because it opens doors. I like the idea of building a versatile skill set that can take me anywhere. I’m also a Division-1 swimmer, I started my career in the Big 10 at Penn State University then transferred to Fordham where I’ve already been named an Atlantic 10 performer of the week. Before my collegiate career I finaled at the US Olympic Trials, medaled at the US Open, and was named to the US National Select camp team. Outside of the pool, I’m passionate about connecting my love of the water to helping people. I work and volunteer as a swim instructor, teaching water safety throughout my community. I’m also an advocate for Crohn’s disease as a patient myself. Beyond that, I love to travel, speak three languages, and am excited to partner with brands that align with an active and adventurous lifestyle!
