My name is Katie Shanahan! I am a sophomore captain at Quinnipiac University in Connecticut and I play as a defender. I graduated Falmouth High School where I played ice hockey, golf, and field hockey. I am a natural, dedicated leader on my team and am extremely passionate my sport and successes. Outside of field hockey I enjoy going to the beach and boating with friends and family. Going on a run in the summertime is one of my favorite hobbies alongside doing art including painting and drawing. I currently own a training LLC - KS Elite Training and am well known for teaching youth how to play field hockey and grow the game. I have a turf practice facility in my basement where I offer one-on-one instruction, other opportunities for athletes to improve their field hockey game include group skills sessions, summer leagues, as well as speed and conditioning sessions for all ages.
