About
Biography
I have participated in Xavier sponsored service Saturday events, which included restoring the produce garden of a women and children's sanctuary. I have also volunteered with the New Orleans Mission, packaging meals and personally handing them out to people experiencing homelessness who were in need of food, a cold water, or even just a conversation or a prayer. Through Tango Charity feed the city events, I have had the pleasure of giving back to my home town community by making sandwiches and snack bags to then be dispersed to families and people in need. I've also had the opportunity of painting and rebuilding houses damaged during hurricane Ida. Which was somewhat similar to the work I did back home, making repairs on houses in need of critical maintenance. While also getting the chance to participate in serving my community through clothing drives, and meal preparations at my local food bank.
