I graduated from Jones College with my associates degree. I have a twin brother and two older sisters. Jackson State has given me the opportunity to play soccer with my sister that I consider my best friend after 4 years of being apart. I have thirteen tattoos and I consider my body a canvas. All my life I was bullied for my size. It wasn’t until I made it to my freshman year of college that I fell in love with the gym and went from 225 to 178. My dream in life is to show girls that look like me that they can come from nothing and be somebody. Playing in a predominantly white sport you often feel lonely because you feel as though no one understands the struggle of being the minority. Deciding to play at Jackson State has allowed me to be unapologetically myself.
