I have the privilege of playing as a starter for my entire 5 years of my career. I set at the D2 level and achieved All-American status while graduating with a Bachelors in Marketing. I then decided to take my Covid year and transferred Division 1 Power 5 as a Gator at the University of Florida. I came in as a walk on and soon earned scholarship and became the starting setter after a preseason injury of our starting player in my role. I also graduated from UF with a certificate in Social Media Journalism. Having this opportunity made me appreciate the support I had throughout my career and I now work to help place college athletes into jobs after their playing careers are over as a University Partnerships Coordinator at Podium X. I started my collegiate career coming back from a ACL & MCL tear in my senior year of high school and finished it by playing on a fully torn meniscus and fractured femur for my last season without knowing until afterwards!
