Hi, I’m Mackenzy Hardin! I play softball at East Texas Baptist University and I’m a Pre-Med major. Before games, I’m usually drinking boba or a Starbucks (and always eating a cheese quesadilla from somewhere). I love playing obnoxiously loud music, saying positive affirmations, and just keeping the energy light for my team. One of my favorite things is talking with teammates who feel stressed or anxious before games. I love helping them relax and get back to having fun. Softball is such an important part of my life, but so is being there for the people around me and making sure they see the love that surrounds them. Listening to worship music before games also helps remind me how blessed I am to not only do what I love , but to appreciate that I have the opportunities I’ve been blessed with. Lastly talking to my dad before games is definitely one of my favorites, because he always assures me that he believes in no matter the situation :)
