Kirsten Sass has won multiple national and world championship gold medals as an age group (amateur) triathlete, but the achievement she is most proud of is racing as a guide for the visually impaired paratriathlete, Amy Dixon, for the 2020 Tokyo Paralympics. She works as a Physician Assistant in a family practice setting, and is a mother of two. Over the past year she has turned her family home into a training facility that offers a family friendly retreat, and has been actively encouraging the local community to get involved in swimming, biking, and running.
