Biography
Hello, I'm DJ Smillz. I play various music, including classic hip-hop, disco, funk, pop, R&B, rap, afrobeat, dancehall, classical rock, and EDM! I am Kent State University's In-House DJ for KSU's Men's Basketball team and other Kent State-related events. My work comprises of providing music and entertainment for events such as homecomings, football games, basketball games, volleyball games, etc. While working with Kent, I opened for the current frontman of hip hop trio Migos, Quavo, Lil Yachty, American Rapper Yung Gravy, and the alternative pop band from Provo, Utah, The Aces. My other notable work includes being the Mobile DJ Director / ON-Air DJ for KSU Black Squirrel Radio and also being selected to provide music for 2021's MudGirl Run in Berea, OH, and Erie, PA.
