Hi, my name is Kyra Leonard. I am a left-handed pitcher wearing #11 and studying biochemistry at Elon University. I am very passionate about mental health, animals and veterinary medicine, physical health, and faith. Because fitness is very important to my family and I, we opened up a sports training facility to help young, aspiring athletes in my hometown reach their goals. I was recognized in high-school for outstanding performance on the field, earning second team all-state in VISSA multiple times and being top on leaderboards in many categories such as strikeout and batting average for my senior season. Not only did I receive athletic awards, but I was an honor roll student all throughout high-school, graduating as a part of the Celtic Cross, an honor for being top four highest grade point average in the class. I am a hard worker and very dedicated to my education and athletic career. I look forward to expanding my horizons and growing my interests and skills.
