I aspire to be a physical therapist as I have faced a few surgical injuries throughout my career. I ultimately feel like each time I have bounced back from surgery whether knee or shoulder and become an athlete much greater than I once knew prior to injury. I believe through this I have also developed necessary qualities to be a leader and not just a teammate. I would like to help all future athletes of any level regain that confidence in their play style like my physical therapists did for me when I faced multiple trials through my physical, mental, social, and spiritual aspects of my mind and body. I believe this is also a great way to teach the Mind to Muscle connection that is made as an athlete when performing a movement or exercise crucial to the fundamentals of their sport.
