Hello, my name is Landon Travelstead and I am a college golfer for Rend Lake College in Southern Illinois. I am a very easy going person and get along with nearly everyone I meet. I am getting an associates in arts degree at RLC then transferring to a technical college in Missouri to obtain a Turfgrass management degree. When I’m not at school you will find me working at my home golf course as a greenskeeper. In my future career I hope to become either a golf course superintendent or work on professional sports or collegiate sports fields. Sports has always played a big part of my life whether it’s playing, watching, or officiating. Some of my favorite sports besides golf are basketball, football, and track & field. In my personal time I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, especially when it revolves around food. I have always loved to cook and have become pretty good at it. Finally, I hold a strong Christian faith and try to set an example and deciple to those around me.
