Aloha! My name is Larissa Teramura and I am pursuing my undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering at Seattle University while continuing my athletic career as a member of the women’s tennis team. I played my first two years of college tennis at UC Irvine as a chemical engineering major. I am passionate about helping children accomplish their goals, and I hope to work in prosthetics in the future to help give children the physical ability to achieve their dreams. Currently, I have over 200 volunteer hours helping out at my local elementary school in Hawaii, as well as volunteer hours running a school supply drive and assisting with local tennis programs. Some of my other interests include reading, shopping, running, and swimming. I am also a huge foodie, and I love to try new things! With everything that I do, I make sure to spread the aloha spirit and treat everyone with the utmost respect and kindness, so that they will be inspired to do the same.
