Hello! My name is Lauren and I play division 1 rugby for Grand Canyon University. At GCU I am studying marketing and advertising. Besides this, I am also a student worker here! Before coming to GCU, I did not play rugby. I was approached in the weight room and invited to come to a practice and I was terrified. I had no idea how this sport worked or that it was even a possibility for me to succeed at it. Looking back, it was all grit and hard work that got me a starting position on a D1 team, and competing for teams at a national level! Because of my story, I am a strong lover of people who dog fight their way up to the top. I love an underdog. I prioritize my diet and my health habits and am always striving to be better in all ways. Leadership is something that I absolutely love and has always came naturally to me. I am hoping to represent brands that value the same things I do! Brands that are passionate about people, being positive, getting better, and working hard to get there.
