Hi my name is Lauren Thai and I’m a freshman at UC Irvine. I’m majoring in biology hoping to pursue a physician assistant program after graduating. I’ve always been interested in dermatology and all things health. I’m one of 4 siblings and have two younger sisters and an older brother. I’ve been running track since I was 5 and have been in love with the sport ever since. I am a heptathlete so I compete in 7 events that are long jump, high jump, 100m hurdles, 200, 800, shot put, and javelin. I love track because it taught me the importance of hard work and dedication which has transferred to every aspect of my life. I enjoy going to the beach and reading in my free time. I’m incredibly passionate about all things athletics as well as representing woman in sports.
