My name is Leroy Lopez, and I attend Southeastern University. Before I came here, I was not too excited because this wasn’t my first choice. Throughout my first year of college, I didn’t know the language of God, but eventually, I understood. As an athlete, I made my sport an idol, but it did not turn out well. My emotions, validity, or even affirmation came from football, yet there was always a void. The Lord filled that void. Now, I want to show athletes that they are more than their sport.
