I’m Lexie Ransom, a sophomore guard for Southern Wesleyan University’s D2 women’s basketball team and an Elementary Education major. At 5’5, I might not be the tallest on the court, but I make up for it with hustle, grit, and a love for the game. I’m the kind of player who takes pride in defense, loves hitting a clean corner three, and always brings energy to my teammates. Off the court, I’m working toward becoming a teacher because I’m passionate about kids and making a difference in their lives. Most days you’ll find me juggling classes, practice, and lesson plans, but I still make time for coffee runs and laughing with friends. For me, being a college athlete isn’t just about the game, it’s about growing as a person, chasing big goals, and enjoying the journey along the way!
