Liberty started speed climbing at the age of 13. When she was 15, she qualified for Youth Nationals where she ran the fastest time of the competition, earning her a spot on the Youth US Team. That time also qualified her to compete on the adult circuit. She was invited to compete at Adult US Nationals where she placed 4th. That ranking qualified her for Adult US National Team try outs where she placed 4th and earned a spot on the US Team. In addition to her success in climbing, Liberty is also an accomplished student. She attends high school where she participates in the Collegiate program, allowing her the opportunity to obtain her Associates Degree while she is in high-school. She is ranked top 3% in her class of 600 and has a 4.0 GPA in high-school and college. She works part time coaching younger athletes at the gym where she trains. She has represented USA in 10 world cups in 5 different countries within the last two years.
