I am majoring in Biosciences with a concentration in Evolutionary Biology and Ecology and am currently doing marine biology research in fish physiology and evolution. I have a passion for social justice and am minoring in Poverty, Justice, and Human Capabilities. This interest has led me to work with community outreach groups and non-profits like Best Buddies, Door of Hope, Bread of Life, and Planned Parenthood. In my free time, I love to travel, cook, read, play guitar, explore new restaurants around Houston and read. I also love to be outdoors and anything action adventure including camping, hiking, swimming, scuba diving, rock climbing, etc. This is my third year serving on the Rice Athletics Student Athlete Advisory Committee, and first year in my current role as Co-President.
